Alicia and Jacob are having TWINS!!!

In 2011 I was lucky enough to photograph the wedding of Alicia and Jacob, it was a beautiful ceremony full of love and laughter.  Today their family is about to expand, they are expecting twins!  Alicia has has a tough pregnancy between morning sickness and bronchitis, but with Jacob’s help they have managed to decorate an adorable Dr. Seuss themed nursery.  The boys, who’s names are being kept secret, are gonna love their beautiful cribs and Seussian stuffed animals.  Alicia was just glowing when I went over to do her session.  It was so nice catching up with her and Jacob and hearing all about the babies that will be here soon.  Here’s a little peak into out at home maternity session and keep an eye out for my session with the twins when they arrive!

Jason Class of 2013

My first senior session of the year was with the very kind and handsome Jason.  It wasn't too cold, and not too hot we really had a perfect afternoon. Time just flew by as I walked around Redlands with Jason and his mom Amy.  We were chatting about football, life after high school, and the awesome Yamaha that Jason rides.  I had a ton of fun with Jason and Amy!  We shot quite a few images that afternoon in downtown Redlands, but the real fun was when we headed back to Jason's house.  Jason brought out his awesome Yamaha and rode it around the property for me wheelies and all!
A big thank you to Jason for being so easy to work with and for bringing along your mom to cheer you on and help tote your wardrobe!  You reminded me of how much fun shooting senior sessions can be and how I always leave feeling really lucky to get to know these young people. Enjoy your sneak peek and I wish you all the best as you face this exciting time in your life.

Macie and Lily Have a Play Date!

I’ve happily know this family for a long time now.  I was there when Macie's parents got engaged, I photographed their wedding, their maternity session before Macie was born even her newborn photos and now her 6 month photos.   It’s so fun being able to watch a family grow into many people that are one special family unit.   It's pretty cool actually…

Macie and Lily got together for a little play date and did what most girls do.  They played dress up, laughed and gossiped.  The house echoed with there giggles and they lit up the room with their infectious smiles.  I hope you enjoy this preview as much as I did taking them.

Meghan and Michael's Wedding at the San Juan Capistrano Mission

I loved so many things about Meghan and Michael’s wedding. They are a such a genuine and sweet couple. I enjoyed watching the two of them together; they are so deeply in love and so easy to photography! Their wedding was this past Saturday at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano.  We were allowed to walk around the grounds to photograph the couple.  It was a great backdrop and made for some very cool photos.  Their reception was at the historic Casino San Clemente.  It's a very pretty venue and the perfect setting for all of Meghan's details.  My favorite detail was Meghan's cookie bar!  She had her mom and bridesmaids make cookies for the bar which included yummy flavors like "Jane's Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies".  Other little touches included a custom cake topper which looked just like them and an adorable groom's cake.  Congratulations Meghan and Michael I wish the both of you a lifetime of happiness.

Carson Turns ONE!

I had so much fun doing this session with Carson.  He is such a good baby, from the time I did his newborn photos to one year later he still laughs and smiles, I never hear him fuss.  He had me laughing the entire time I was there and even after when I was editing the photos.

When we gave him the cake he looked at his mom like "Really?! Your gonna let me eat this whole thing?"  The funny thing was he didn't really eat as much as I thought he would.  Mostly he had a few pinches of cake and then spent the rest of the time finger painting with the frosting.

This was my first cake smash session and I loved every minute of it.  I can't even look at these photos without giggling.
