Welcome Home Erika!

I had an amazing opportunity to meet Erika and her lovely family last month.  She was just 4 days home from Afghanistan and she got the family together for a fun family session.  We found a cute little spot at the last minute and I just fell in love with it's charm.  Unfortunately it was a pretty cold afternoon, but we made the best of the sunshine that peeked through the clouds every now and then.  This was a fun day and I was honored to be a part of it.  Thank you Erika for serving this Country.

Abby and Felicity's Christmas Session

I was so excited to photograph these little girls because I have been friends with their Mom forever!  This has always been one of my favorite parts of this job, I get to reconnect with people from the past and it allows me to keep in touch with them despite hectic schedules.  Little Felicity was so sweet and spunky and Abby was just a joy.  These little girls give you no choice but to laugh and smile.

Christmas With Stephanie and Family

I absolutely love this time of year! Food, family, giving, friends... all of it just makes my heart happy, especially my job.  I had a lot of fun with this group!  I may be a little bias considering the oldest boy is my wonderful and adorable nephew.  We had originally planned on doing this session in Oak Glen but the weather was not cooperating.  Fortunately we found a very cute park free of rain that worked perfectly.  I thought it might be to cold but keeping up with these boys can keep you warm.  

Christmas Photos With Jessica and Family

As the Holidays are getting closer I am still  trying to catch up on my blog! I have had so many wonderful families this year and do not want to leave anyone out! So thank you all for your patience I promise to have my blog updated by the end of the month.  Jessica and her family have been clients of mine for a long time now. It feels like yesterday they had me come to their home to photograph their little boy JD and now he is so big and full of personality!  You guys are such an amazingly beautiful family and I LOVE you all so much thank you for always believing in me and sharing my talent with all you know and love as well! It's so much fun to watch the children grow and be a part of that process.

Oak Glen Family Session with Amanda

After all of the session I have done with Amanda and her family you would think that I couldn't possibly have anything else to say...  Well that's not the case!  These kids always have me laughing they are all so silly, even the baby was all smiles.  I met Amanda and the family up in Oak Glen for some Christmas photos, all the leaves have turned and you couldn't ask for a better backdrop.  The kids had fun and I had a hard time trying to keep them in their seats.  Seriously, this is one adorable family!

Baby Macie

Meet beautiful baby girl Macie!  I love her little cheeks and I also love her dark dark hair!  I was trying to decide which pictures I’d pick as my favorites to blog about and I loved so many!  She was would not sleep for more than a second during her session so was so alert!  Seen here she is 2 weeks old, but she’s been popping up in my newsfeed on Facebook and I see that she is growing like a weed and getting prettier by the day! Here are a few of my favorites! Congratulations to Amanda, Jeff, Big sister Jetta and Big Brother Linkin and Blake! She is beautiful!!

Amanda's Maternity Session

It is so much fun to have clients that keep coming back for all of the special moments in their lives.  I have seen Amanda and her husband Jeff get engaged, then marry, have kids and now they are having another one.  I get to see the kids grow up change it is such a pleasure to be a part of something that special.  Amanda is having a little girl that they have named Macie, I can't wait to meet her and do her very first photo session.

4th of July Family Photos

You may remember these cute kids from photo sessions we have done in the past.  Their mom doesn't do the traditional Christmas photos so every 4th of July their mom likes to get their photos done.  I love this idea and the red, white and blue color scheme just pops.  Next year their will be another smiling face to add to the group because the kids will soon have a little sister.  Enjoy the sneak peek and keep an eye out for my maternity session with mommy Amanda!



 

 

 

6 Month Old Gizmo

This sweet little boy is 6 months old now! I took his photos when he was just 2 weeks old and he was a sleepy little angel for that shoot. Well now, Gizmo is older and very playful, he giggles and smiles and was a little trooper for his session. I love getting to see the kids grow as I do their photos.  I hope you all enjoy the preview!.

Baby Felicity

Once upon a time, a beautiful princess was born. She had two amazing parents and a big sister named Abby. Her name is Felicity Grace and she was born on April 13th at 8am.  She weighed 7 pounds 13.5 ounces and was 19 inches long.  Just a couple days shy of her 2 week birthday I had the pleasure of doing her first photo session. Here is just a few from our session. Mommy and Daddy have so many more to choose from too.

I adore this family and cannot wait to watch them grow and change in the coming year.  Thank you for letting me be a part of your amazing new journey of parenthood!

Becky, Jake & Baby #2

Becky and Jake are having their second baby very soon.  They did, however, make some time to meet with me to document their journey.  We went to Oak Glen to do their session and I was very happy to see that there was still snow on the ground.  We walked around Oak Knoll Park and Los Rios Rancho.  It was a wonderful day and I think we got some beautiful results.  Enjoy!

Baby Carson

I love photographing babies, even though they can be some of the most stubborn models I have ever worked with.  Meet the handsome newborn Baby Carson!  At only 2 weeks old when we did his first photography session, he is tiny, sweet and ready to snuggle into his blankie for a good snooze!  He did such a wonderful job with the awesome help of his Mommy and Daddy.  Here are a few of the shots from our afternoon together.
