Taryn & RJ Said "I DO!"

In a intimate ceremony last Saturday Taryn and R.J. said "I Do" amongst their closest friends and family.  These two are so much fun and just a pleasure to be around.  Taryn and R.J. were high school sweethearts and have been in love ever since.  From our first meeting together to our fun filled engagement session you could just tell that they were madly in love.  They make each other laugh and in turn make everyone around them smile.  I was so happy to be a part of their big day.  The most emotional part of the day was when they held hands around a door to be able to pray together one last time before becoming man and wife.  The weather was on their side and didn't start to sprinkle til the very end of the reception, but you know what they say, rain on your wedding day is good luck.  So good luck Taryn and R.J. and congratulations again, I wish you both a long and happy marriage, keep making each other laugh!

Taryn and RJ's Los Rios Rancho Engagement Session

I absolutely loved meeting and working with Taryn and RJ for their Oak Glen engagement session!  When I first met this adorable couple I knew we’d be a great match! Their story is quite possibly just as cute as they are.  Taryn and RJ are high school sweethearts and adore Disneyland which is where RJ popped the big question.  RJ was in cahoots with their families and one very willing characterture artist.  He had him draw their portrait with a giant diamond ring and RJ on one knee.  Obviously Taryn said yes and here we are!  It was so wonderful to spend the afternoon with them and hear about all of their plans for their wedding and their new lives together!  They grabbed some warm cider and  I grabbed a few candids.  I’m thrilled and looking forward to their wedding in February!

Jessica and Marc's Engagement Session in Redlands

I am so excited to share this adorable engagement session with you!  Jessica and Marc are just the perfect couple.  They are so much fun and knew that they wanted two different locations for their engagement session.  When they asked if we could shoot in downtown Redlands, I was thrilled!  Not only was it super fun to tool around but we had a blast laughing and almost getting caught in the Christmas parade.  Jessica and Marc, you two are awesome!  I cannot wait for your wedding!

Oak Glen and Palm Springs with Sheila and Jennifer

This past Saturday  I spent a great afternoon with Shelia and Jennifer photographing their engagement photo shoot. The fall colors were in full bloom, so I took full advantage.  We started our session in Oak Glen at Riley's and then hit the Snowline for a few more shots.  There were a few sprinkles but that didn't "dampen" anyone's mood, these girls had me laughing all day.  After a cup of warm cider and some more laughing we headed out to Palm Springs to take advantage of the amazingly decorated Riviera Resort and Spa.  Jennifer and Sheila's wedding is taking place next year in San Diego and I’m excited to head down there to celebrate with them.

Lake Arrowhead Resort Wedding of Ana and Moris

Ana and Moris are, quite simply, an incredible couple. The way they look at one another, love is in the air whenever they’re around.  This amazing couple got married at the Lake Arrowhead Resort in Lake Arrowhead.  When I met with Ana one of her concerns was if I could make it up the mountain if it snowed.  Lo and behold, their wedding landed on a bright and beautiful sunny day, one more week and we would of had snow.  The ceremony was outdoors with the beautiful lake shimmering behind them.  I think the couple was ecstatic to have all their favorite people spending the day with them.  Their reception was a blast!  So much fun and so much dancing.  My favorite part of the night was the garter toss.  When Moris threw the garter all the single guys scattered in different directions avoiding the lace covered garter at all costs.  Their guests were in hysterics and I think it left the DJ speechless.  I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.  It was such an adrenaline rush, and a happy one at that.  Congratulations Ana and Moris I am so happy for the both of you and glad that you asked me to be a part of it.

Elsa and Alex's Wedding on the Queen Mary

This weekend I assisted Jason at the wedding of Elsa and Alex.  When Jason told me that this fantastic couple was going to have a Día de los Muertos themed wedding I practically begged to come along.  Elsa was a very creative DIY bride who made a lot of the things for her wedding.  Invitations, hand stamped coaster favors, decoupaged bottles and even her own garter this bride can do it all!  After the couples ceremony in their family church, they jumped in a beautiful 1929 Packard and made their way to the Queen Mary.  Once on the boat we took the newlyweds from bow to stern taking photos the whole way.  The Queen Mary is very beautiful but nothing compared to the glow of Alex and Elsa.  After we finished with photos it was time for their reception and when they made their grand entrance the room shook with applause.  I don't think Elsa sat down for the rest of the night, her feet hit the dance floor and never stopped moving!  Congratulations to Elsa and Alex, I had a wonderful time at your wedding and I thank you for letting me be a part of your celebration.

Leslie and Seun's Palos Verdes Golf Club Wedding

I loved so many things about Leslie and Seun’s wedding, they are a such a genuine and sweet couple.  I enjoyed watching the two of them together; they are so deeply in love!  Their wedding was in October which is a perfect month for outdoor weddings. I loved all the purple accents, especially her shoes and the groom and groomsmen’s socks. The wedding took place at Palos Verdes Golf Club which is such a neat location.  The couple had so many little fun things planned.  They had an artist paint their portrait during the reception, a photo booth with props for all the guests to use and not only one but two grand entrances!  This wedding felt so much like a celebration, Leslie and Seun were a complete joy to work with, and I know how happy they are going to be together!
