Wendy and Rafael's Wedding at the Fleur de Lis Chapel

I’m not sure where to start with Wendy and Rafael...  I met them in November at Moris and Ana's wedding and thought they were just adorable.  Two weeks before their wedding they found themselves without a photographer so they called me.  Luckily I was available!  When we met to discuss all the details I knew they were MY kinda couple.  Fun-loving, laid-back, genuine, and genuinely in LOVE, they just make me smile.  Their wedding day was one big blur of giant smiles and laughter.  Their friends and family were so much fun and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.  Wendy and Rafael are just a delight to be around and hang out with.  I loved it!

Taryn & RJ Said "I DO!"

In a intimate ceremony last Saturday Taryn and R.J. said "I Do" amongst their closest friends and family.  These two are so much fun and just a pleasure to be around.  Taryn and R.J. were high school sweethearts and have been in love ever since.  From our first meeting together to our fun filled engagement session you could just tell that they were madly in love.  They make each other laugh and in turn make everyone around them smile.  I was so happy to be a part of their big day.  The most emotional part of the day was when they held hands around a door to be able to pray together one last time before becoming man and wife.  The weather was on their side and didn't start to sprinkle til the very end of the reception, but you know what they say, rain on your wedding day is good luck.  So good luck Taryn and R.J. and congratulations again, I wish you both a long and happy marriage, keep making each other laugh!

Welcome Home Erika!

I had an amazing opportunity to meet Erika and her lovely family last month.  She was just 4 days home from Afghanistan and she got the family together for a fun family session.  We found a cute little spot at the last minute and I just fell in love with it's charm.  Unfortunately it was a pretty cold afternoon, but we made the best of the sunshine that peeked through the clouds every now and then.  This was a fun day and I was honored to be a part of it.  Thank you Erika for serving this Country.

Newbron Baby Alexander

It’s a BOY!!!!  And a cute, cute, cute baby boy at that.  He was an such an awesome little poser for us, he didn’t fuss at all.  I love spending time with new moms getting my baby fix in.  There really is nothing better or more precious.  This is my second newborn session with mommy Jyll.  Her first born Zach was my very first newborn session.  He's gotten so big!  Watching them grow is a great perk with this job.  Mom and dad, I know I said it before but it’s worth saying it again, congratulations, he’s a beautiful baby and, don’t blink…. it goes by very, very fast so take every minute in and cherish it.

Taryn and RJ's Los Rios Rancho Engagement Session

I absolutely loved meeting and working with Taryn and RJ for their Oak Glen engagement session!  When I first met this adorable couple I knew we’d be a great match! Their story is quite possibly just as cute as they are.  Taryn and RJ are high school sweethearts and adore Disneyland which is where RJ popped the big question.  RJ was in cahoots with their families and one very willing characterture artist.  He had him draw their portrait with a giant diamond ring and RJ on one knee.  Obviously Taryn said yes and here we are!  It was so wonderful to spend the afternoon with them and hear about all of their plans for their wedding and their new lives together!  They grabbed some warm cider and  I grabbed a few candids.  I’m thrilled and looking forward to their wedding in February!

Jessica and Marc's Engagement Session in Redlands

I am so excited to share this adorable engagement session with you!  Jessica and Marc are just the perfect couple.  They are so much fun and knew that they wanted two different locations for their engagement session.  When they asked if we could shoot in downtown Redlands, I was thrilled!  Not only was it super fun to tool around but we had a blast laughing and almost getting caught in the Christmas parade.  Jessica and Marc, you two are awesome!  I cannot wait for your wedding!

Abby and Felicity's Christmas Session

I was so excited to photograph these little girls because I have been friends with their Mom forever!  This has always been one of my favorite parts of this job, I get to reconnect with people from the past and it allows me to keep in touch with them despite hectic schedules.  Little Felicity was so sweet and spunky and Abby was just a joy.  These little girls give you no choice but to laugh and smile.

Oak Glen Family Session with Amanda

After all of the session I have done with Amanda and her family you would think that I couldn't possibly have anything else to say...  Well that's not the case!  These kids always have me laughing they are all so silly, even the baby was all smiles.  I met Amanda and the family up in Oak Glen for some Christmas photos, all the leaves have turned and you couldn't ask for a better backdrop.  The kids had fun and I had a hard time trying to keep them in their seats.  Seriously, this is one adorable family!

Oak Glen and Palm Springs with Sheila and Jennifer

This past Saturday  I spent a great afternoon with Shelia and Jennifer photographing their engagement photo shoot. The fall colors were in full bloom, so I took full advantage.  We started our session in Oak Glen at Riley's and then hit the Snowline for a few more shots.  There were a few sprinkles but that didn't "dampen" anyone's mood, these girls had me laughing all day.  After a cup of warm cider and some more laughing we headed out to Palm Springs to take advantage of the amazingly decorated Riviera Resort and Spa.  Jennifer and Sheila's wedding is taking place next year in San Diego and I’m excited to head down there to celebrate with them.
